answer for the question Where is the oldest continuously operating post office in the U.S.? is :
New Hampshire – The post office in Hinsdale, New Hampshire, has been located in the same building since 1816. While other post offices in the U.S. were established even earlier than that, the Hinsdale post office is the only one that’s been operating in the same building for so long. The town’s first postmaster, Nathan Babbitt, was appointed in 1815 and had the building constructed the following year. Originally, it was a general store, and the post office occupied just a small corner, but as the town and its postal needs grew, the post office took over the entire floor. In August 2016, the Hinsdale post office held a 200th birthday bash, complete with a performance by the town band, a cake, special T-shirts and tote bags, and a hand-stamped cancellation designed by a local high school student.:
